Based in Ipoh, Perak, this role offers a unique opportunity to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's objectives, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • To provide leadership, direction, and management of the finance and accounting team.
  • To offer strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team.
  • To manage financial forecasting and budgeting processes, overseeing the preparation of all financial reports.
  • To advise on long-term business and financial planning.
  • To provide commercial insight and leadership across the business to exceed business plan targets.
  • To ensure the risk and compliance management framework is embedded and operational for the Group.
  • To establish and develop relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Possess a professional certificate such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA, etc.
  • Experience in a senior financial management role within the construction/M&E/property industry.
  • Experience in a public listed company/experience in IPO listing process.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin due to business needs and liaising with Mandarin-speaking contractors.
