At Versatile Creation Sdn Bhd, we are seeking a skilled Purchasing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in planning, buying, and sourcing materials and commodities from approved vendor lists locally and overseas.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure timely delivery of materials from suppliers and meet quality requirements.
  2. Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with local and overseas suppliers.
  3. Develop and execute cost reduction initiatives.
  4. Maintain and implement suppliers scorecard programs.
  5. Contribute to achieving objectives such as inventory management, cost reduction, materials availability, and quality management.
  6. Additional duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management, Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Materials, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Diploma in Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Industrial Systems Engineering.
  • At least 2-5 years of working experience.
  • Knowledge of MRP systems is advantageous.
  • Able to perform in a fast-paced environment, preferably with experience in manufacturing.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
