Accounting Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in Bandar Sunway. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Record sales invoices and track receipts;
  • Record supplier invoices and track payments;
  • Record any other income and expenses (including payroll and non-cash items);
  • Perform Bank reconciliations;
  • Update Fixed Assets Register;
  • Some engagements may include organising and making payments;
  • Ensure all documents are accurately and securely filed;
  • Ensure financial policies are being adhered to;
  • To assist with the communication with external auditors and tax advisors relating to audit and tax queries;
  • Assist the Firm in other ad hoc tasks, and as part of your long-term career development, you will also be given the opportunity to participate in corporate advisory engagements.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a LCCI/Diploma in the field of Accounting;
  • Candidates with Bachelor's Degree/Professional Qualifications (e.g. CPA, MICPA, ACCA, etc.) in the field of Finance/Accountancy would be an added advantage;
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in handling full set of accounts. However, fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply;
  • Experience using SQL Accounting software would be an added advantage;
  • Functional knowledge and skills in using Microsoft Office applications, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
  • Good communication skills, well organized, meticulous and result-oriented;
  • Generally based in office at Bandar Sunway but may require travelling (within Klang Valley) from time to time;
  • Good verbal and written command in English, Bahasa and Mandarin (optional).
  • Able to work independently.
