About the role:

The Technology Operations Expert is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the global Nintex enterprise systems and network infrastructure.

Your contribution will be:

  • Designing and deploying scalable and secure enterprise systems, including Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Hyper-V, Virtual Machine Manager, Intune, O365, Exchange, Defender for Endpoint, SharePoint online, backups, and system monitoring.
  • Developing and maintaining LAN/WAN systems, including Internet services, firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, WIFI, and security systems, in support of a global enterprise architecture.
  • Configuring and maintaining key Infrastructure systems, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
  • Monitoring system performance, identifying potential issues, and executing proactive maintenance to prevent downtime.
  • Participating in security investigations, analyzing system logs, and collaborating with the Security team to resolve security incidents.
  • Automating and improving processes using scripting technologies like PowerShell, reducing manual errors and increasing productivity.
  • Providing tier 2 support for the internal IT Support team, helping to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Maintaining accurate records of system downtime and equipment inventory, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Collaborating with vendors to assist with support and upgrade activities, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Maintaining up-to-date documentation and procedures for best practice standards, promoting knowledge sharing and consistency.
  • Monitoring ticketing system progress, escalating and resolving tickets efficiently using documented processes and critical thinking.
  • Identifying and troubleshooting issues, developing effective solutions to ensure systems run efficiently and securely.
  • Auditing applications and systems to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Performing regular system upgrades and backups, ensuring data integrity and security, and facilitating smooth transitions between versions.
  • Fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within the Support team, providing training and resources to enhance technical expertise.

To be successful, we think you need:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a Systems and/or Network Engineering role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with remote teams and end users, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • A passion for staying current with emerging technologies and trends.
