The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the smooth operation of SAP systems and supporting SAP rollout projects across various business units.
  • Collaborating with SAP functional and technical teams, as well as project stakeholders, to deliver high-quality SAP solutions.
  • Installing and configuring SAP systems, including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, SRM, SCM, and others.
  • Performing system copies, migrations, and upgrades.
  • Configuring and managing SAP landscape sub-systems.
SAP System Migration:
  • Planning and executing SAP system migrations, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
  • Collaborating with database administrators and infrastructure teams to migrate SAP systems to new hardware or cloud environments.
  • Conducting pre- and post-migration testing to validate system functionality and performance.
System Administration and Maintenance:
  • Monitoring SAP system performance and performing tuning to ensure optimal performance.
  • Managing SAP system backups, restores, and disaster recovery.
  • Applying patches, updates, and enhancement packages to SAP systems.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an SAP Basis Engineer or similar role.
  • Proven experience in SAP rollout projects, including system installation and configuration.
  • Strong understanding of SAP architecture, database management, and system performance tuning.
  • Proficiency in SAP Basis administration and management.
  • Experience with SAP HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, and other databases.
  • Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, UNIX) and network infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager.
Preferred Qualifications:

Additionally, it would be advantageous if you have:

  • SAP certification in Basis administration.
  • Experience with cloud-based SAP environments (e.g., SAP Cloud Platform).
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori and SAP S/4HANA migration projects.
  • Experience in a multinational company or working on global SAP rollout projects.
