We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist ASEAN to join our team at Boston Scientific. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business success.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll management, with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in handling complex payroll calculations, managing relationships with outsource providers, and overseeing payroll efficiency and accuracy initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage daily payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely payment of ASEAN site staff.
  • Prepare and process payroll changes, including new hires, separations, promotions, and compensation adjustments.
  • Analyze payroll records and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Meet statutory reporting requirements, regulations, and compliance for payroll taxes, withholding, and employer contributions.
  • Coordinate expatriate payroll & benefits reporting, tax filing, and tax clearance.
  • Assess income and tax impact of equity transactions within payroll.
  • Ensure accurate accounting and reporting on all payroll-related feeds to the accounting team.
  • Collaborate with internal/external auditors, regulatory bodies, and general ledger teams.
  • Negotiate SLAs with third-party payroll service providers and resolve employee payroll inquiries promptly.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll files, systems, and reports.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Support additional projects as assigned, focusing on implementing payroll applications, insourcing payroll functions, setting up payroll CoE, integrating ASEAN/APAC country-level payroll functions to CoE, and continuous improvement projects.
