  • Maintenance Management: Manage and maintain all plant machinery and equipment to ensure their proper functioning.
  • Preventive Maintenance Planning: Lead the planning and improvement of plant preventive maintenance systems to minimize downtime and costs.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee the Maintenance department to ensure all plant machinery is properly maintained, and drive improvements in machinery reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Mechanical Support: Monitor and optimize machinery performance while providing engineering support for modifications and new installations.
  • Daily Maintenance Strategy: Manage day-to-day maintenance strategy, including routine, special, and shutdown period maintenance.
  • Safety Assessment: Participate in safety and risk assessment activities to ensure the safe introduction of new equipment and technologies.

Requirements for Success

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in plant engineering and maintenance management with more than 8 years of experiences.
  • Strong knowledge in machinery/equipment preventive maintenance.
  • Strong background in maintenance best practices and equipment reliability.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate team members.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and share knowledge to drive business success.
  • Candidate must be willing to work in Klang.
