Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team at Flextronics - The Flex Company. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance plans with suppliers to ensure compliance with customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select suitable suppliers based on quality, capability, pricing, delivery, and regulatory compliance.
  • Implement new supplier qualification processes, including capability matching, supplier risk assessment, and onsite qualification audits.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to optimize manufacturing processes and products through Value-Added Engineering Activities.
  • Track and analyze quality performance data to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address quality issues with suppliers.
  • Perform quality audits to ensure compliance with International Organization for Standards (ISO) and regulatory standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, purchasing engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure a collaborative and effective supplier quality management system.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in supplier quality management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management principles, processes, and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
