Job Summary

Servier Group is seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to join our team. As a key member of our medical affairs team, you will play a critical role in developing and nurturing professional relationships with Therapeutic Area Experts (TAEs) and effectively communicating scientific information to drive our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Scientific and Field-based Accountabilities:
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest scientific knowledge in Oncology, including disease states, research advances, approved treatment options, and investigational therapies, to ensure credible presentation and exchange of key scientific information with healthcare professionals and TAEs.
    • Implement regional and local medical affairs strategy and action plan, ensuring successful execution and effective communication of key scientific information.
    • Develop and maintain an integrated KOL list, ensuring sufficient KOL coverage through field visits (80% fieldwork).
  2. Education and Scientific Projects:
    • Conduct educational meetings (CMEs) and scientific projects to fulfill unmet medical educational needs and disease state knowledge, ensuring safe and appropriate use of Servier therapeutics.
    • Support medical and patient programs, tracking and following up on these activities.
  3. Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Participate in cross-functional meetings, sharing external stakeholders' insights with internal stakeholders to inform medical, access, and product strategies.
    • Work closely with team members to establish and strengthen relationships with key opinion leaders, advancing the Company's reputation, commitment to patients, and expertise development.
    • Support the initiation, oversight, and follow-up of company-sponsored clinical studies, identifying key sites, potential investigators, and ensuring timely delivery of key milestones.
  4. Compliance:
    • Ensure all activities are compliant with Servier Policies and SOPs, and Medicines Malaysia's Code of Conduct.
Requirements
  • A high science degree such as Life Sciences, Pharmacy, MBBS, or PhD (for oncology).
  • Strongly preferred with scientific and/or clinical experience or training in Oncology.
  • Minimum 2 years of MSL experience in the pharmaceutical industry is mandatory.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining credible relationships with TAEs and other clients.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to learn and effectively convey clinical and non-clinical technical information and scientific/medical publications.
  • Strong business acumen, able to work in teams and autonomously.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and work effectively with minimal supervision in a constantly changing environment.
