About the IT Specialist Role

The IT Specialist at TaskUs provides technical support to internal customers, ensuring they receive high-quality service and minimizing recurring issues. This role requires exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills, as well as knowledge of I.T. systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide technical assistance to internal customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving technical concerns efficiently and effectively.
  2. Identify and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and telecommunications malfunctions, taking prompt action to resolve these issues.
  3. Conduct tests, configure, install, modify, maintain, and repair computer hardware, operating systems, applications, software patches, and updates.
  4. Participate in user application testing during program implementation, migration, and system maintenance.
  5. Manage and maintain an inventory of computer hardware assets, peripherals, and software licenses owned by the company.

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • At least 1 year minimum experience.
  • Knowledge of I.T. systems and equipment as well as their installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair.
  • Above-average problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any IT / Computer-related course.
