Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for articulating architectural vision, strategy & direction, conceptualizing and experimenting new/alternative architectural approaches, creating and testing design models, software frameworks & utilities tools.
Key Responsibilities- Articulate Architectural Vision
The Solution Architect will be responsible for articulating the architectural vision, strategy & direction for the company's software development projects. This will involve conceptualizing and experimenting new/alternative architectural approaches, creating and testing design models, software frameworks & utilities tools.
Develop and Implement Departmental Software Development FrameworkThe Solution Architect will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing the departmental software development framework, policies, guidelines and best practices.
Lead and Guide Project TeamsThe Solution Architect will be responsible for leading and guiding project teams comprising of Application Developers.
Manage and Implement Software Frameworks and Utilities ToolsThe Solution Architect will be responsible for managing and implementing software frameworks and utilities tools projects.
Monitor and Control Team ProgressThe Solution Architect will be responsible for monitoring and controlling team progress and resolving issues arisen.
Provide Technical Consultation and GuidanceThe Solution Architect will be responsible for providing technical consultation and guidance to project teams on IT platform direction, strategy, resolution to technical issues and technical solution recommendations.
Work with Project Teams on Technical TroubleshootingThe Solution Architect will be responsible for working with project teams in technical troubleshooting and issues related to software development.
Provide Direction and Support to Project Managers and Team MembersThe Solution Architect will be responsible for providing direction and support to project managers and team members and ensuring that duties, responsibilities and authority and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood.
Requirements- Minimum 7 Years Working Experience
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 years working experience on enterprise level Application Development and 3 years hands-on software/solution architecture design experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information TechnologyThe successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Knowledge and Experience in Software Development LifecycleThe successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in Software Development Lifecycle (i.e. Waterfall, Agile & Incremental).
Experience on Cloud-Aware Application DesignThe successful candidate will have experience on cloud-aware application design.
Good Understanding of Networking Concepts, Protocols & Security PrinciplesThe successful candidate will have a good understanding of networking concepts, protocols & security principles.
Able to Identify Performance Bottlenecks and Optimize System PerformanceThe successful candidate will be able to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
Familiar with Integration TechnologiesThe successful candidate will be familiar with integration technologies such as messaging queues, API gateways, and enterprise service buses (ESBs).
Strong Understanding of Software Development Methodologies, Enterprise Architecture Principles, and Various TechnologiesThe successful candidate will have a strong understanding of software development methodologies, enterprise architecture principles, and various technologies relevant to their industry. This may include knowledge of programming languages, databases, cloud computing platforms, networking, security, and DevOps practices.
Strong Communication, Analytical and Interpersonal SkillsThe successful candidate will have strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
Good Command of EnglishThe successful candidate will have a good command of English (verbal and written).
Able to Communicate in MandarinThe successful candidate will be able to communicate in Mandarin, which would be an added advantage.
