The Associate Project Manager will lead the execution of small & medium sized projects with various complexity.

The work model for the role is: onsite, hybrid.

The position is based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solution Business (Medium Voltage).

The key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading project teams, establishing project execution approaches, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities.
  2. Managing project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
  3. Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risks, and ensuring all opportunities are pursued.
  4. Collaborating with Supply Chain Management to procure required services, materials, and equipment.
  5. Stepping up as the key contact for customer escalation on project issues.
  6. Ensuring project execution plans comply with company health, safety, and environmental policies.

Qualifications for the role include:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  2. More than 4 years of Project Management experience in Electrical Distribution, Medium Voltage.
  3. Preferred with experience in MV Switchgears, Compact Substations for Data Centers or Oil & Gas industries.
  4. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project.
  5. Resourceful, independent, collaborative, analytical, solutions driven & growth mindset.

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent is required. More than 4 years of experience in Project Management, especially in Electrical Distribution, Medium Voltage, is necessary.
