Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and financial planning to support strategic business decisions.
  3. Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability and operational efficiency.
  4. Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliations.
  5. Taxation & Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including preparing and submitting tax reports, GST/SST, and corporate tax filings.
  6. Audit & Internal Controls: Coordinate with external and internal auditors, ensuring timely completion of audits and implementation of recommendations.
  7. Financial Strategy & Cost Control: Provide insights on cost reduction, financial risk management, and profitability improvement.
  8. Liaison & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with banks, financial institutions, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  9. Process Improvement: Identify areas for financial process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
  10. Team Support & Supervision: Mentor junior finance team members and provide guidance on financial matters.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA are an advantage.
  2. Proficiency in Mandarin is required (both spoken and written).
  3. Ability to use AI and AP automation tools.
  4. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related role.
  5. Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and taxation laws.
  6. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
  7. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  8. Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  9. Detail-oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
