Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Materials Buyer to join our procurement team in Ipoh, Malaysia.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Purchasing Activities:
      Execute fundamental purchasing activities, including Return to Vendor (RTV) management, PO status tracking, work order processing, and Accounts Payable (AP) maintenance.
    • Inventory Management:
      Work closely with suppliers to maintain optimal control over raw material inventory levels, ensuring efficient turnover ratios.
    • Collaboration:
      Collaborate with internal stakeholders to coordinate material requirements, including demand/supply coordination with planning.
Requirements
  • Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience:
    5 years & above of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or production environments.
  • Skills:
    Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work effectively across teams.
