The Accounting Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing and processing all incoming invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments and maintaining financial records in accordance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Receive, verify, and process supplier invoices, ensuring they match purchase orders and receipt records.
  2. Ensure proper coding of invoices according to the chart of accounts and company policies.
  3. Manage discrepancies, resolve issues, and ensure invoices are approved before payment.
  4. Process payments to suppliers in a timely and accurate manner.
  5. Prepare and process weekly / monthly payment runs via checks or other methods as needed.
  6. Ensure all payments comply with financial regulations and are documented appropriately.

Requirements

  1. Possess min a Diploma in Finance / Accountancy or equivalent.
  2. At least 2 years working experience in diversified industries.
  3. Mandarin proficiency required to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders from overseas.
  4. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  5. Possess analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  6. Experience in the auditing field will be an added advantage.
