About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Customer Support Specialist to join our team at oilandgas. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and solutions to customers and sales representatives across the globe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical advice and solutions to customers and sales representatives on ABB products and systems.
  • Diagnostic Studies: Conduct in-depth analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the optimal technical solution to meet customer needs and address complex inquiries.
  • Business Development: Support the achievement of budget goals for local sales units, including volume targets and profitable growth, across all assigned product groups and in the respective countries.
  • Delivery Support: Ensure timely delivery of support requests to local sales units and customers.
  • Market Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of market requirements, application needs, key customers, and competitors to secure orders by offering optimum economical solutions from ABB's comprehensive range of product portfolio offerings.
  • Training and Development: Identify potential development opportunities from daily contacts with local sales units and provide adequate necessary training to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Process Improvement: Report any found problems or issues within the division to improve tools and processes further.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in an international business environment.
  • Skills: Social networking, stress tolerance, cultural sensitivity, agile and proactive approach, ability to take ownership of customer issues, knowledge of principles and practices in customer service, collaborative and solution-focused approach, and good command of written and spoken English.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Fresh graduates with a minimum of one year experience in sales support, customer support/service in the engineering field.
