About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital & Technology Risk Auditor to join our team at OCBC Bank. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our technology and information security controls are adequate and effective.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Audit Activities: Manage audit activities to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standards, providing value to the Bank.
  2. Team Leadership: Lead a team of internal auditors in the execution of audit engagements and prepare internal audit reports reflecting the results of work performed.
  3. Quality Assurance: Ensure auditing standards and procedures are observed and requirements of audit quality assurance are met.
  4. IT Risk Assurance: Provide independent assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of information technology and information security controls in the Bank.
  5. Recommendation Tracking: Track the implementation and closure of audit recommendations and report on overdue issues.
  6. Advisory Services: Provide advisory and consulting services as and when needed.
  7. Cross-Border Assignments: Participate in cross-border assignments and share work knowledge and best practices.
  8. Stakeholder Partnership: Maintain good business partnership with stakeholders and ensure that Audit is kept informed of emerging IT risk and trends and/or new developments.
  9. Professional Development: Maintain a professional development plan to continually develop technical, interpersonal, and management skills consistent with the requirements set by Audit Division.
  10. Process Improvement: Increase the effectiveness of audit processes by leveraging on data analytics for risk discovery and insights, including designing and developing audit dashboards for continuous risk assessments and continuous auditing.
Requirements
  1. Education: University Degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field, and preferably with a CISA, CISSP, or CISM.
  2. Experience: Experience in IT auditing and data analytics with exposure in any of the following areas: cyber security, information security management, ID management, application systems development, telecommunication and network, IT infrastructure, IT projects, and systems support.
  3. Skills: Strong risk-based auditing experience with hands-on experience in data analytics preferably ACL and/or QlikView.
  4. Operating Systems: Good knowledge of various operating systems, databases, mainframe, and/or midrange, with working or auditing experience in at least one platform.
Desirable Skills
  • Self-Starter: A self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Analytical Skills: Hardworking and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present audit findings and recommendations to audit clients.
