Azeus Systems Limited is seeking a highly skilled ESG Sustainability Data Analyst to join our ConveneESG Software product team. As an integral member of this dynamic team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our clients' sustainability reporting journey from standard compliance to next-level ESG governance.

About the Role

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in sustainability and ESG reporting, with experience in data analysis, disclosure review, and report writing. You will work closely with colleagues globally, leveraging your expertise to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Review: Provide support for clients in creating templates and preparing sustainability reports using local provisions and/or frameworks such as GRI, TCFD, SRS, etc.
  • Qualitative/Quantitative Data Mapping: Work on mapping and extracting qualitative/quantitative data for peer disclosure comparison or benchmarking from relevant documents like sustainability reports and annual reports.
  • Client Onboarding and Support: Support client onboarding and software handover by organizing and gathering client needs, facilitating software walkthroughs/client training.
  • Disclosure Recommendations: Prepare disclosure review summaries and provide recommendations to clients based on best practices and upcoming requirements in covered markets/jurisdictions.
  • Client Queries and Reporting: Review, process, and respond to client queries within defined turn-around times.
  • Report Quality and Standards: Review draft reports, ensure high-quality standards, and improve existing templates.
  • Market Trends and Developments: Track and monitor ESG reporting requirements in markets/jurisdictions covered by the team.
  • Process Development and Improvement: Participate in and contribute to the further development of processes and improvements in the ESG product offering through collaboration with colleagues and other departments.
  • Team Goals and Performance: Take ownership of production targets, deliver required output of high quality, and ensure deadlines are met.
Requirements and Qualifications

We seek candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Business, International Development, Social Science, Interdisciplinary Studies, or any relevant field. A minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in sustainability/ESG-related roles, preferably with disclosure analysis, data extraction, and report writing experience, is essential.

Knowledge of different company disclosures and reporting requirements, such as annual and sustainability reports, is also necessary. Experience in issuer/client communication and working with teams across different geographies is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is approximately HKD $80,000 - HKD $120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Azeus Systems Limited offers a competitive benefits package, including opportunities for professional growth and development.
