Industrial Account Developer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Account Developer to join our team at Trelleborg Sealing Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products to meet customer needs.

Your key responsibilities will include analyzing commercial and technical requirements of customers, developing relationships with key accounts, and pursuing sales leads. You will also provide timely market feedback, customer trends and information for marketing, and respond to customer inquiries, negotiate prices and delivery times, and win sales orders to meet sales targets.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering or Science and more than 5 years of work experience in sales or technical in the industrial or manufacturing environment. Knowledge of rubber/plastic products, seals and bearings is beneficial, as is application knowledge within specific segments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Sales Growth and Profitability in assigned territory.
  • Develop relationships with key accounts to support and grow current business, generate new business opportunities.
  • Pursue sales leads - Identify, research, and develop prospective target new customers that will generate future sales and repeat business.
  • Provide timely market feedback, customer trends and information for marketing.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, negotiate prices and delivery times, and win sales orders to meet sales targets.
  • Ensure sales, customer service, supply chain, manufacturing and quality control are aligned to ensure proper customer-centric account management.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or Science.
  • More than 5 years of work experience in sales or technical in the industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of rubber/plastic products, seals and bearings is beneficial.
  • Application knowledge within specific segments is an advantage (ie Automotive, Fluidpower, Semiconductor).
  • Customer driven with a positive, professional, can-do attitude.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, convincing and influencing skills.
  • Independent, works with right sense of urgency, high level of commitment, drive & resourcefulness.
