Job Description

The Regional Account Director is responsible for commercial activities associated with nominated Strategic Global and Expansion Accounts. This role requires close collaboration with other NIQ-GfK sales representatives to achieve global targets.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts with regional headquarters clients to achieve sales targets
  • Develop strategic business approaches for the Tech & Durables industry
  • Identify and develop growth opportunity values using GfK tracking data
  • Presentation of data and findings to create selling opportunities
  • Lead regional and local pitches to deliver compelling proposals
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers
  • Build C-suite level engagement and establish access to senior stakeholders
  • Solution identification and proposal for client needs

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Mandarin and English; Asian language knowledge beneficial
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Market Research, or Statistics
  • Minimum 5 years of research industry experience, preferably in technical consumer goods
  • Strong business development track record in complex data environments
  • Ability to quickly grasp markets, methodologies, and techniques
  • Effective organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills
  • Positive attitude, strong sales and negotiation skills, and a drive for new business
