Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate closure of accounts.

  • Prepare accounting journals and ensure they are prepared accurately and posted timely.

  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, highlight and rectify any anomalies encountered, including clearing of open items.

  • Submit monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting packages accurately and within specified timescales.

  • Support internal and external audit matters by ensuring timely submission of required audit schedules and providing financial supporting documents and information to auditors.

  • Support tax matters by preparing tax schedules, providing financial supporting documents and information to tax consultants.

  • Perform backup functions and other duties, including job rotation to other functional teams as and when required.

  • Control financial reporting, group policies, and guidelines, local statutory and legal requirements within agreed service timelines.

  • Engage and support teams in the implementation of continuous improvement projects.

  • Proactively identify, recommend, and implement solutions in consultation with management for continuous improvement opportunities in areas of operation.

  • Support managers in driving team efficiency.
