We are seeking a skilled Trade Sales Specialist to join our Commercial Banking team.

  • Achieve trade fee income & profit income targets by driving customers' utilization of trade products and services offered.
  • Develop and implement strategies for closure of new deals by assessing customers' wallet and future opportunities.
  • Provide specialist's advisory/ support to customers and internal business units in pursuing new customers/ business.
  • Perform transactional servicing and manage customers' expectations to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct trade product knowledge and sales training to business partners to increase awareness and expand customer base.
  • Work with trade product and marketing team to organize related marketing campaigns and customer appreciation events or seminar aligned with incremental customer base, utilization and fee income target.
  • Cross sell other related products such as cash management, fx and marine cargo insurance to customers.
  • Collaborate with business unit to acquire customers within the bank's target market segments.
  • Work with product managers to roll out new products/services and marketing collaterals, provide market intelligence, and solicit customer feedback on trade offerings for resolutions through respective units.
  • Prepare necessary reports, track and measure achievements to ensure optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients to identify their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to leverage cross-selling opportunities and enhance overall customer experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity to ensure that OCBC's trade finance offering remains competitive.
  • Maintain accurate records and report progress against set targets and KPIs.
