Your Key Responsibilities

  • Release Planning & Coordination: Develop and implement release plans to ensure timely and efficient deployment of changes.

  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with software or infrastructure releases and changes, working closely with technical teams to develop rollback plans.

  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with engineering, development, operations, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of release schedules and requirements.

  • Release Documentation: Maintain comprehensive release documentation, including release notes, change logs, and post-deployment reports.

  • Deployment Oversight: Oversee the deployment of releases into the production environment, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted deployment.

  • Post-Release Monitoring and Support:

    Maintain the performance of released software and changes in the production environment, escalating any post-release issues promptly.

  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously review and improve release management processes, methodologies, and tools to ensure more efficient and effective releases and change implementations.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all releases undergo appropriate testing and validation before deployment.

  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure that all release management activities comply with internal policies, external regulations, and industry standards.

About You

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in release management, change management, or project management within the IT sector. Telecommunication experience is an added advantage.

  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of release management tools, change request systems, and project management software.
