Job Summary

As a Senior Associate in the Assurance team at Ecovis Malaysia PLT, you will play a key role in executing audit procedures and establishing strong relationships with clients.

You will be responsible for leading a team to participate in audit assignments from beginning to end, including performing audit fieldwork, documenting and compiling audit working papers, identifying issues, and presenting audit findings and recommendations. Additionally, you will review audit reports, execute a solid understanding of accounting and auditing principles, supervise Assurance Associates, and develop excellent communication skills with peers, superiors, and external parties.

Requirements:

  1. Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or hold a full or partial professional qualification (MICPA, ACCA, ICAEW, ICA, ICAA, CPA(A), or CIMA)
  2. Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office applications
  3. Knowledge of ProSystem fx Engagement will be an added advantage
  4. Strong technical ability, excellent interpersonal skills, and leadership qualities
  5. Team player with a strong sense of responsibility
  6. Willingness to learn and travel
