The successful candidate will have experience with endpoint security solutions, network intrusion prevention systems, and cloud security posture management.

A tertiary qualification in a relevant field is essential, and excellent communication skills are required to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Whitelisting and blacklisting domains and email addresses
  2. Releasing emails from policy quarantine
  3. Analyzing spam and phishing email tickets
  4. Providing ad hoc support for customer requests related to whitelisting and blacklisting
  5. Dropping or quarantining external emails to recipients
  6. Monitoring and acknowledging tickets from our ticketing tool
  7. Working on issues, following up, and closing tickets
  8. Preparing monthly reports on email delivery and receipt statistics
  9. Allowing spoofed domains to send emails to recipients
  10. Monitoring alerts triggered by Microsoft Defender related to quarantine release, restricted users, and phishing alerts
  11. Creating policies and content filters based on user requirements
  12. Collaborating with third-party email senders to resolve legitimate email blocking issues due to DMARC policies
  13. Analyzing spoof intelligence and impersonation insights to adjust EOP policies
  14. Participating in weekly meetings with customers to discuss email security
  15. Sharing monthly reports with stakeholders to provide visibility on user performance
  16. Analyzing and modifying SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records
  17. Reviewing configurations, rules, and policies periodically and providing recommendations
  18. Modifying inbound and outbound routing configurations in Exchange as needed
  19. Collaborating with DNS teams to update MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records
