Job Responsibilities

  1. To assist in carrying out corporate finance related works (such as financial analysis, review of internal controls, restructuring of company, advising on listing scheme, preparing pitch decks, review and prepare documents relating to prospectus etc) under the guidance of a Manager;
  2. To document works performed in working papers;
  3. To participate actively in the discussion and meeting with clients and potential clients;
  4. To participate in due diligence working group meetings, provide views and recommendations to the team and assist clients to address issues raised;
  5. To assist clients by coordinating tasks with other professionals involved in the project to achieve the desired outcomes.

Additional Responsibilities for Senior Position

  1. To lead juniors during job assignment;
  2. To perform planning for the engagement assigned, from pre-engagement to execution of corporate restructuring;
  3. To liaise internally and with client's representatives for the arrangement for the engagement assigned;
  4. To perform on-the-job review and take appropriate action(s) to ensure engagement being carried out effectively and to meet tight deadlines.

Requirements

  1. A degree holder in Accounting, Finance, other relevant finance field or possess a professional qualification such as ACCA, MICPA, CIMA, CPA, etc.
  2. Candidate with at least one (1) year of working experience in external audit practice will have added advantage.
  3. Basic understanding of corporate finance regulatory landscape in Malaysia (e.g. Bursa Malaysia's listing requirements).
  4. Team player, proactive, resourceful, innovative and possess a logical mindset.
  5. Detail-oriented.
  6. Ability to see the big picture and work towards the desired outcome.
  7. Proficient in written and spoken English as well as possess ability to communicate with all levels of management.
  8. A team player who is also able to work well independently and under a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  9. Have good analytical skills and computer knowledge.
  10. Possess a positive attitude and demonstrate desire for continuous improvement.
  11. Possess valid driving license.

  14. Required skill(s): Microsoft Office Suite.
