Job Description

Celestica is looking for a motivated Procurement and Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for coordinating the logistics of procuring commodities and services.

You will develop and execute a procurement strategy for commodity or services, including competitive benchmarking, technology direction, supplier analysis, development, selection, and pricing strategy. This role requires strong knowledge of basic computer applications and the ability to learn and use multiple applications specific to this department.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute a procurement strategy for commodity or services.
  2. Participate in the Commodity Council Corporate negotiation teams or individually.
  3. Coordinate the logistics of procuring commodities and services.
  4. Quote and negotiate quarterly all products or major services either regionally or globally.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in related field (Commerce or Engineering), or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Three to six years of commodity management experience.
  3. Strong knowledge of basic computer applications and the ability to learn and use multiple applications specific to this department.
