The Technology and Operations Function

The Technology and Operations function comprises five teams of specialists with unique capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance, and planning support and services. We work collaboratively to leverage technology to enhance our physical and digital banking services and operations.

Job Responsibilities

As the Development Lead for Cards, your primary responsibility is to collaborate with stakeholders from project inception to pre- and post-deployment phases. You will focus on ensuring the delivery of high-quality cards technology system enhancements that meet required standards.

Your key job responsibilities include:

  • Familiarity with Cardlink/card product systems and preparation of technical specifications, code development, project deployment, and SDLC process.
  • Management of a team of developers supporting cards platforms and strategic projects across the UOB franchise.
  • Leadership in delivering high-quality cards systems design and adherence to global architecture principles, enterprise design principles, security, and control standards.
  • Technical deliverable planning to meet project requirements within allocated budget and schedule.
  • Cross-functional collaboration to manage technical dependencies of the solution.
  • Risk identification and management related to technical delivery.
  • Leadership in innovative problem-solving activities requiring conceptual thinking and creation of 'out-of-the-box' solutions with prototypes and pilots.
