ASA SYSTEM (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking a highly experienced Vision-Guided Robotics Engineer to design, integrate, and troubleshoot vision-guided robotic systems in our manufacturing, automation, and quality inspection environments.

Responsibilities
  1. AOI System Development: Develop and implement Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems for defect detection, part validation, and quality control. Utilize 2D/3D vision systems to guide robotic operations and develop image processing algorithms using OpenCV, Python, C++, or AI-based deep learning models.
  2. Robotic Arm Programming: Program and deploy robotic arms, including FANUC, Techman (TM), ABB, KUKA, Universal Robots (UR), Yaskawa. Develop vision-guided robotics (VGR) applications for pick-and-place, bin picking, and automated assembly. Optimize robot programming scripts using various languages and calibrate robotic systems for accuracy and repeatability.
  3. System Integration & Troubleshooting: Integrate robotic systems with conveyors, sensors, cameras, and PLCs. Troubleshoot and maintain robotic automation systems, analyzing system performance to optimize cycle time, accuracy, and efficiency.
