Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager, Equity Fund Sales and Marketing to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our marketing and sales teams to promote our private equity fund to prospective investors.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to promote our private equity fund to prospective investors.
- Identify target markets and demographics, and adopt specific strategies to achieve success.
- Event Organisation
- Generate interest and collect respondent data for events, and send event invitations and register participants.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage various events, including meetings, seminars, and direct presentations at our corporate office, hotel event rooms, and possible overseas locations.
- Populate and manage an annual planning event calendar, encompassing diverse media platforms to generate interest.
- Train and mentor junior team members in understanding the financial instrument and articulating the investment plan convincingly to potential investors and close sales.
- Personally present at events, engage with attendees, and assist in closing sales effectively.
- Organise post-sales direct-marketing to maintain investor relationships.
- Provide timely updates, send out reports, and ensure the prompt and correct distribution of investment returns to investors.
- Nurture investors' trust for continued investments and attract new investors on an ongoing basis.
Qualifying Criteria
- Professional Expertise
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in property-related business, private equity fund investment, etc.
- Sales experience with private equity funds, unit trusts, insurance agency, and/or other structured financial products such as unitised land parcels would be an added advantage.
- Communication Skill
- Proficiency in English, Chinese, and Malay for effective business communications.
- Skillful in MS Office and Google Workspace apps.
- Media Skill
- Proficient with business social media as marketing platforms, and cloud office solutions.
- Personal Attributes
- Strong integrity, ambitious, and self-starter.
- Fast-learner, professional personal image with a winning personality.
- Responsive, proactive in problem-solving.
