About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Alfa Laval Corporate AB. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing mechanical and technical support to customers, executing and providing service, installation, testing, repairing, and maintaining Alfa Laval products at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair of Alfa Laval equipment, including decanters and separators for the Crude Palm Oil industry.
  • Commissioning, including checking of equipment installation, training of operators in equipment operation, maintenance, and safety.
  • Maintaining communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up.
  • Performing repair inspections and preparing repair reports.
  • Conducting test trials, including process performance.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in the relevant field.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments, multitask, and manage time effectively.
  • Proficient in documentation and reporting.
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with industry advancements.
  • Ability to travel (minimum 80 days/year).
