Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities- Lead and Mentor a Team: Provide guidance and support to ensure high performance and career development of a team of finance professionals.
- Oversee Finance Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the finance process, including general ledger maintenance, month-end and year-end close activities, and financial reporting.
- Ensure Financial Accuracy: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Certification as a CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, including at least 3-5 years in a managerial capacity.
- Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in managing the Record to Report (RTR) process within a multinational company or large organization. Experience in a shared services environment is preferred.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
