Job Title: Junior Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Analyst to join our team at GfK Growth from Knowledge. As a Junior Analyst, you will play a key role in creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting GfK POS reports, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of data and reports to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Create and maintain reporting templates in our system, performing maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
  2. Understand and troubleshoot interconnected parts between data, reporting systems, and delivery systems.
  3. Ensure high-quality report delivery, monitoring report generation status and resolving any issues that may arise.
  4. Communicate with stakeholders on reporting and delivery topics, holding discussions with the international team to resolve issues.
  5. Handle Jira tickets, providing solutions and support on reporting-related issues, requests, or queries.
  6. Participate in delegated projects, setting up, modifying, and troubleshooting GfK's complex online reporting tool.
  7. Post-process reports using automation tools, blasting memos to external clients on delivery and data change issues.
  8. Liaise with teams for data quality and delivery timeliness, performing tasks assigned by immediate superiors.
  9. Assist the commercial team in preparing client presentations, analyzing needs and updating charts with the latest data and analysis.
Requirements:
  1. Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
  2. Advanced computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  3. Excellent command of English, both spoken and written, with knowledge of other languages an added advantage.
  4. Basic concept of working with databases.
  5. Sound analytical skills and ability to interpret research data accurately.
  6. Ability to work with tight deadlines, willing to work extra hours to fulfill client requests.
  7. High attention to detail, able to spot tiny elements within large datasets.
  8. Good communication and relationship-building skills, internal, external, and cross-cultural.
  9. Good time management skills, able to work independently without constant supervision.
  10. Able to prioritize work, multitask, and think rationally under pressure.
  11. Business goal-oriented, able to work effectively with colleagues and line manager, valuing accuracy and attention to detail.
  12. Willingness to work in shift hours and a Sunday to Thursday workweek is highly desired.
