Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning
    • Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve the company's goals and objectives.
    • Lead corporate exercises, including mergers and acquisitions, investment and divestment analysis, and group restructuring.
    • Prepare and review financial models for businesses and potential investments.
  • Corporate Finance
    • Manage recurring corporate finance activities, including regulatory compliance and corporate announcements.
    • Oversee the completion of existing and ongoing corporate finance proposals.
    • Be responsible for regulatory compliance matters, including Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements and Securities Commission Guidelines.
  • Investor Relations
    • Lead investor relations for the company, including the dissemination of financial information and communication with the investing community.
    • Make presentations to potential investors and hold press conferences, investor briefings, and road shows.
  • General
    • Apply experience and knowledge on the financial health of the organization, participating in meetings on cash flow, degearing, business performance, and other matters.
    • Liaise with external professional parties, including bankers, auditors, tax agents, underwriters, lawyers, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification (ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/MICPA)
  • At least 10 years of experience in a senior finance role, preferably in the property industry
  • Astute leadership and interpersonal skills, with excellent communication and strategic thinking abilities
  • Ability to cope with a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Sound stakeholders management skills and proven negotiation skills
  • Expert-level business acumen with a proven track record of leading an efficient and effective finance function
