Senior Finance Specialist for Global Source to Settle Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Specialist to join our Global Source to Settle (STS) team, responsible for delivering end-to-end STS processes. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with our global BPO partner to execute STS transactional services and support process improvements.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to ensuring all STS processes and transactions comply with accounting standards, policies, SOX, and statutory requirements. You will provide input to the global process owner group for operational opportunities for process and control design, as well as vendor experience.

You will be responsible for supporting/backup as needed in a selection of the STS process areas, including Invoice Processing, Employee Expense Management, Payments/Treasury. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance or accounting, with experience in SAP S4 Hana, Coupa, WHT, and VAT. Fluency in English and Mandarin is a distinct advantage when supporting BPO and STS stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Services: In accordance with agreed Service Level, Controls, and Governance.
  • Process Compliance: Adhere to policies and internal controls, comply with STS guidelines, ensuring process and SOX controls are executed in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Process Improvement: Bring a process improvement focus, supporting implementation of best practices and a project management discipline.
  • Audit Support: Collaborate with internal and external auditors to support successful audit results and compliance with US GAAP and company policies.
  • Training and Delivery: Support training, accuracy, and timely delivery of work outputs.
  • Efficiency Drives: Participate with process owners and other GDO Center colleagues to help identify opportunities to drive efficiencies through continuous improvement.
  • Documentation: Maintain professional and detailed process and related internal control documentation such as global SOPs, Regional Work Instructions etc.
  • Consultative Support: Provide consultative support to our outsource partners in Genpact Dalian and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in a finance or accounting department of a multinational company preferred. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Skills: Experience in SAP S4 Hana, Coupa, WHT, and VAT. Fluent in English/Mandarin a distinct advantage when supporting BPO and STS Stakeholders.
  • Audit Experience: Experience with Internal or External Audit valued.
  • Financial Controls: Demonstrated ability to maintain financial controls.
  • Process Improvement: Experience with continuous process improvement projects.
