  • Performing Imaging Examinations: You will operate various imaging equipment such as X-rays to capture high-quality images for patient diagnosis.
  • Preparing Patients: You will prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the examination.
  • Radiation Safety: You will ensure that radiation protection protocols are followed at all times to minimize exposure to patients, yourself, and other staff.
  • Image Analysis: You will review and evaluate the quality of images to ensure diagnostic clarity, reporting any technical issues or abnormalities in imaging results.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, your key responsibilities will include collaborating with doctors to discuss imaging results and assist in diagnosis and treatment plans. You will also provide compassionate care, addressing any concerns or questions patients may have regarding the imaging procedures. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records of procedures, including patient data, imaging results, and radiation doses used during procedures.

  • Collaborating with Team: You will work closely with doctors to discuss imaging results and assist in diagnosis and treatment plans.
  • Patient Care: You will provide compassionate care, addressing any concerns or questions patients may have regarding the imaging procedures.
  • Maintaining Equipment: You will perform routine maintenance checks on radiographic equipment to ensure functionality and safety, reporting any issues for repair.
  • Record Management: You will maintain accurate records of procedures, including patient data, imaging results, and radiation doses used during procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

To be successful in this role, you will require a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Radiography or Medical Imaging. Certified Radiographers with registration under the Malaysian Society of Radiographers (MSR) or relevant governing body are preferred. Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting is advantageous but not mandatory for fresh graduates. Strong technical and analytical skills, good communication and patient interaction skills, fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
