Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and implement system architecture and frameworks aligned with Allianz group standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical designs and specifications in line with Allianz project standards and SDLC methodologies.
  • Lead the development of enterprise solutions for life and health, as well as property and casualty insurance products.
  • Optimize regional team performance in assigned projects to achieve timely completion.
  • Manage regional development teams for new and enhancement projects, including production support.
  • Oversee regional development teams to meet SLAs of all responsible systems.
  • Support regional stakeholders, business operations, and user communities.
  • Ensure compliance with SDLC and system security guidelines and procedures.
  • Undertake tasks assigned by management.
  • Plan and execute budgets, as well as monitor IT strategies.

Requirements

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years in core system development, with at least 5 years in a managerial role and regional experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in coding and database design for web and mobile applications, preferably in Java Springboot, Angular, Flutter, Kotlin, Ionic, and/or Native Mobile Development.
  • Broad business knowledge in life and health, as well as property and casualty insurance, but candidates from the financial or customer service industries will also be considered.
  • Effective communication skills throughout the organization.
  • Leadership capabilities and ability to manage technical teams to deliver solutions within set timeframes.
  • Capacity to plan long and short-term goals to support the overall business plan.
