Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team at Nexus Capital Malaysia. As an Accounting Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our operation and sales departments, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the operation and sales departments, including managing and organizing key documents and data.
  • Accounting Operations: Issue invoices and payment vouchers, and maintain a well-organized filing system. Perform day-to-day accounting operation activities and functions, such as data entry into accounting systems.
  • Accounting Functions: Handle account payable, account receivable, statements, general ledger, and other accounting functions as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Education: Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an accounting or administrative role is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting. Good organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
