Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Management: Ensure all accounting and financial management practices are strictly adhered to group accounting policy and approved accounting standards.
  2. Financial Reporting: Update and prepare timely periodic and ad-hoc reports (weekly business/operating performance tracking, monthly profit and loss statement, balance sheet statement, quarterly Group consolidation, intercompany reconciliations & reports, and annual audited accounts) to management.
  3. Financial Analysis: Perform analysis of accounts and ensure the accuracy of entries.
  4. Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory filings, corporate tax, and other legislative requirements.
  5. Financial Planning: Assist in preparing the annual budget and periodic forecast exercise.
Requirements
  1. Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, Professional Certificate, or its equivalent qualification.
  2. At least 4-5 years of working experience in handling a full set of accounts, management accounting, group accounts, and related financial analysis exposure.
  3. Post experience with an audit firm is an added advantage.
  4. Strong working knowledge of MFRS accounting and its application.
  5. Required skill(s): Accounting Knowledge, Microsoft Office, Excel.
  6. Good written and communication skills in English.
  7. Detail-oriented, analytical, accurate, good with numbers, reporting, and organizational skills.
