Job Overview

SBM Offshore is seeking a highly skilled Senior ICET Systems Lead to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise across electrical systems, instrumentation, and ICSS.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing ICET systems and a proven track record of leading teams, managing complex projects, and driving system improvements. Experience with FPSO operations is highly desirable.

You will oversee the operation and maintenance of ICET systems, ensuring they meet production requirements, safety standards, and industry regulations. Additionally, you will develop and implement strategies for enhancing the reliability and efficiency of ICET systems.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and supervisory skills, with the ability to work independently and quickly assess and prioritize situations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise across electrical systems, instrumentation, and ICSS
  • Manage NR-10 compliance, functional safety, cybersecurity, and equipment performance
  • Develop action plans and offer technical recommendations to improve system performance
  • Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for system failures and ensure alignment with company standards and international regulations
  • Lead and manage the ICET team, providing direction and technical guidance
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of ICET systems, ensuring they meet production requirements and safety standards
