About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Operations Manager to join our team at Naue Group.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure the smooth operation of the plant, maximizing efficiency and productivity.
  2. Operations Management: Oversee the production process, ensuring timely delivery of products and minimizing waste and rejects.
  3. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of production staff, including Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Logistics Managers.
  4. Workforce Planning: Plan and manage the workforce schedule, ensuring sufficient manpower and rotations to meet production demands.
  5. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  6. Safety and Compliance: Ensure the production floor is safe and compliant with regulatory requirements, working closely with the Health and Safety department.
  7. Maintenance and Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance of production machinery, ensuring good condition and minimizing downtime.
  8. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, implementing changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  9. Reporting and Communication: Provide regular operations-related reports to the Managing Director, ensuring effective communication and transparency.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Plant Engineering, or equivalent.
  2. Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing industry and operations, with a strong background in textile production.
  3. Skills: Proactive, dedicated, and passionate about the production industry, with excellent communication and people management skills.
  4. Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP system (SAP).
  5. Language Skills: Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
