Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our Racks Solutions group. This individual will be responsible for assisting in product development, testing, and debugging of our products. The successful candidate will work closely with our Research and Development Engineers and product managers to ensure the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform server and rack-level testing, write detailed test reports, and identify areas for improvement.
  2. Maintain and configure lab and production networks, clusters, VPN, and other test fixtures and devices.
  3. Collaborate with engineers to resolve hardware, driver, and firmware issues.
  4. Configure switches and routers, update firmware, and provide technical support to customers.
  5. Manage hardware inventory, generate monthly reports, and maintain accurate records.
  6. Install and configure Linux and Windows operating systems on servers.
  7. Support the solution team in running rack and cluster-level tests.
Requirements
  1. Strong experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
  2. Excellent writing skills for creating detailed test reports.
  3. Proficiency in lab or data-center hardware, network setups, and switch configuration.
  4. Familiarity with TCP/IP protocol stack, DHCP, NFS, and other application-level protocols.
  5. Knowledge of server test tools, lab management software, and scalable storage.
  6. Familiarity with visualization technology, AI, HPC, and cloud computing.
  7. Cisco CCNA, AWS, or RHCE certifications are a plus.
  8. Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
  9. BA/BS degree in a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
