We are seeking a highly skilled Global Accounting Expert to join our dynamic team at DayOne. As a leading provider of high-performance data centers, we are committed to excellence and innovation in everything we do.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in budgeting activities, tracking results, and comparing them to key financial targets.
  • Developing and maintaining an accurate record-keeping system and collaborating across departments to set budget goals and ensure they are followed are key tasks.
  • Preparing monthly management reporting, including analytical review of monthly fluctuations, is another critical task.
  • Working closely with local subsidiaries/auditors/tax agents, the Global Accounting Expert will ensure that all financial transactions and records are in accordance with applicable local accounting standards, as well as statutory and tax requirements.
  • Establishing, reviewing, and updating group accounting policies and procedures in line with changes in business requirements and relevant financial reporting standards is a key responsibility.
  • The role involves reconciliation on US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Assisting in SAP implementation and monitoring the progress of the tax incentive granted by the government are additional responsibilities.
  • Providing ad-hoc finance support when required is a key aspect of this position.
Requirements:
  • A degree holder in Finance, Accounting or equivalent professional qualifications.
  • CPA/ACCA or equivalent certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with experience acquired in Big 4 and/or listed company is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with group accounting policies, tax requirements, and internal control procedures, experience in US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance is an advantage.
  • Experienced in SAP S/4HANA preferred.
  • Self-motivated and high degree of initiative, high level of integrity with a strong sense of urgency.
