Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Preliminary Studies

Conduct thorough preliminary studies of our operations, including all relevant business plans, processes, and policies to gain a comprehensive understanding of our business.

Assist in Audit Planning

Assist in planning, designing, and developing the engagement work program to ensure the audit scope and coverage are fully covered. Assist in preparing interview schedules, organizing logistics, and team working place requirements.

Implement Effective Audit Methodologies

Effectively assist in the implementation of effective audit methodologies and practices, including audit risk assessment, planning, audit programs, and audit reports.

Execute Audit Field Work

Execute the audit field work on our operations and submit progress reports to the Audit Manager to ensure coverage, information gathered, and analysis performed is relevant, adequate, and in accordance with established audit approach, technique, and standards.

Propose Value-Added Recommendations

Propose value-added and appropriate recommendations for each audit risk identified during audit engagements to improve our business operations. Utilize knowledge of our business and risk management in identifying fit-for-purpose control solutions.

Document Audit Reports

Assist in documenting audit reports, findings, and recommendations. Prepare reports and submit them together with complete Audit Working Files to the Manager for checking, editing, and examining to ensure the reports are reliable, accurate, and professionally written.

Qualifications
  • Education

Bachelor's Degree and/or professional qualification in related disciplines, preferably Accounting/Information Science/Islamic Finance (e.g., Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)).

Working Experience

Diploma with working experiences also considered. Member of IIA Malaysia is an added advantage.

Skills

Possess good communication skills (both verbally and written) and interpersonal skills. Able to work independently, possess good teamwork, and demonstrate personal agility.

Experience

Minimum 3-4 years (executive) or 5-6 (senior executive) audit (internal/external) experiences.
