Criminal Justice Professor

The Learning Standard is looking for a Programme Leader cum Lecturer to teach, develop curriculum, and administer the Diploma in Law Enforcement program. As a Programme Leader cum Lecturer, you will guide students to excel in the field of law enforcement while collaborating with faculty, industry partners, and law enforcement agencies.

You will have the chance to create and deliver engaging course materials, mentor students, and ensure compliance with accreditation standards. Your background in law enforcement, criminal justice, or security is highly valued.

1. Curriculum Development: Develop and deliver effective course materials in criminal law, policing, and investigative procedures
2. Program Enhancement: Improve and administer the Diploma in Law Enforcement program
3. Student Support: Mentor and support students in academic and career-related matters
4. Curriculum Alignment: Collaborate with industry partners and law enforcement agencies to align curriculum with real-world practices
5. Accreditation: Ensure compliance with higher education accreditation standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)

Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in academia (teaching, curriculum development, or training)
• Strong knowledge of criminal law, policing, and investigative procedures
• Experience in teaching, research, and program administration
• Ability to mentor students and lead faculty teams
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
