Job Title: Sustainability Engineer

At Versatile Creation Sdn Bhd, we are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving our sustainability initiatives and contributing to our mission of reducing our carbon footprint.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sustainable practices and policies to minimize waste and reduce energy consumption.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement connectivity projects that enable reliable data collection for GHG and zero waste reporting.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to achieve zero waste certification for our facilities.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies to enhance sustainability awareness among employees.
  • Develop and implement energy reduction initiatives and monitor their effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in executive sustainability and carbon development projects.
  • Familiarity with sustainability/ESG reporting frameworks and standards.
  • Knowledge of emerging sustainability and carbon market trends, standards, and policies.
  • Knowledge of carbon accounting and GHG Protocol.
  • Knowledge of lifecycle assessment.
  • Knowledge of Science-Based Target Settings.
  • Knowledge of climate-related risks, opportunities, and resiliency assessment.
  • Knowledge of nature-based solutions.
  • Knowledge of carbon credit project development.
  • Knowledge of the Energy sector.
