Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accounting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in RTR operations, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve accounting operational objectives by providing accurate, reliable and timely accounting information for bank reconciliations, general ledger journals for input into SAP, and general administration tasks.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including control accounts, provisions and prepayments, and fixed assets register.
  • Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met and support a clean and timely year-end audit.
  • Process R2R workflow mailboxes and respond to requests in a timely manner.
  • Assist in ad-hoc reporting required by the Line Manager or others.
  • Maintain documentation on processes and ensure systems-related issues are escalated, addressed, and mitigated.
  • Identify, recommend and develop solutions in consultation with Team Lead for continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Support successful implementation of new systems and processes related to the Record to Report function.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or equivalent qualification (ACCA/CPA etc).
  • At least 2 years of experience in RTR.
  • Previous experience with SAP highly preferred.
  • Demonstrate understanding of local taxation requirements.
  • Possess accounting skills, including high level of attention to detail and self-management skills.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
