Job Overview

Zurich 56 Company Ltd is looking for a highly skilled IPZ Account Manager - Liability and Marine to join our team. As an IPZ Executive, you will be responsible for providing underwriting guidance and support to foreign Property Casualty Underwriters in the correct interpretation & application of country/regional underwriting practices and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise on wording and coverage thereby facilitating application of best practice and appropriate management of any risks associated with writing country/regional covers under foreign global programs.
  • Seeks advice and agreement where appropriate from the Receive underwriter and/or Technical Underwriting on more complex and specific coverage requests received prior to service delivery.
  • Take responsibility for the issuance of local policies, ensuring you correctly and closely follow instructions received from the foreign Service Specialist.
  • Complete in accordance with internal and external guidelines, stipulated time frames and quality thresholds.
  • Manage and resolve issues that arise during the insurance period that are related to local coverage requirements, policy issuance, premium payment, claims flow and program reporting.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Underwriting area or other insurance area.
  • OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the Underwriting area or other insurance area.
