About the Role

Our esteemed client, a prominent Pastry Cafe, seeks an experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to lead their JB branch. This pivotal role requires a skilled professional who can effectively oversee daily operations, drive business growth, and foster a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Recruitment, Training, and Development: Attract, interview, and train high-calibre staff to ensure seamless restaurant procedures.
  • Customer Service and Relations: Provide exceptional customer experiences, address inquiries, and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Food Safety and Quality Standards: Maintain stringent food safety and quality standards to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to licensing, hygiene, and health and safety legislations to mitigate risks.
  • Business Promotion and Marketing: Develop and implement strategies to boost brand awareness, drive sales, and expand market share.
  • Communication and Liaison: Foster strong relationships with customers, employees, suppliers, regulatory bodies, and sales representatives.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Analyse sales data, prepare statistical reports, and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or Restaurant Manager, preferably in the F&B industry.
  • Skill Set: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Industry Knowledge: Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and data analysis, with a deep understanding of industry trends and market dynamics.
