Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Businesslist. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Team Management: Lead a team of technicians in performing reactive, preventative, and predictive maintenance on all building and production equipment.
  2. Spare Parts Management: Manage spare parts through the Advanced Plant Maintenance System (APM) to minimize machine downtime.
  3. Procurement and Supply Chain: Raise purchase requisitions with suppliers and follow up on a daily basis to ensure on-time delivery.
  4. PM Schedule Development: Develop an annual PM schedule for all equipment and ensure all PMs are carried out as per plan.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Work with the process engineering team to identify areas for cost reductions and implement continuous improvement projects.
  6. Communication and Reporting: Provide daily status reports to the Process Engineering Manager and monthly reports on downtime and spare part consumption.
  7. Compliance and Quality: Ensure the department conforms to ISO9001, ISO14001, IATF 16949, and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements.
  8. Benchmarking and Innovation: Benchmark for continual improvements and identify new technologies and best practices to implement.
Requirements
  1. Education: Possess a diploma/degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  2. Experience: Have at least 5 years of working experience in effective machine maintenance and spare part control.
  3. Skills: Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and be able to manage the maintenance budget and justify overspend if necessary.
  4. Personal Qualities: Be mature, aggressive, hardworking, self-motivated, and have a sense of urgency.
  5. Leadership and Teamwork: Be able to work independently with strong leadership qualities, and be a disciplined and dynamic team player with a positive attitude.
